Thats a fucking joke. Girardi you can't suck enough on defense tonight and nash cant suck enough on offense. Hank should break one of his goalie sticks over both of their heads.

Girardi and Stepan handing goals to the Kings. You simply will not beat a team like the Kings doing that.

Not going to make this complicated because it isn't. We win game 2 or this is a short series. That simple to me.

Girardi is the modern day Randy Moeller. Most overrated Ranger in recent years.

This was an even game through 2 periods, then we just fell off. What concerns me is you could say the Kings still had a Hawks hangover, and when they got it together it was game over.

Sad because we had every chance to win this game, but AWFUL plays by Stepan and Girardi killed us. That's it.

Yeah, because this team is just like 94 and the Kings are like the Canucks. Means zero.

Just no way to deny we blew a HUGE chance tonight. We are where we are. Comes down to game 2. If we win it is a series. If we lose we are done in 5 I think. There is no way we come back from down 2-0 against this team.

Saturday night will tell us all we need to know.

I agree he sucks handling the puck and is a human turnover.

Gave that one away folks. Uphill climb from here. Had a chance to steal this game in OT even though we didn't deserve. Kings took advantage of our mistakes, that's what champions do. I'm not optimistic.

    Goats of the Game:
    1) Girardi
    2) Stepan
    3) Nash

What made it worse was not only did he fall, he just lightly pushed the puck up the boards, would have been better off eating the puck. And the team took off out of the zone. What an awful play.

Handed the Kings two goals, just cannot do it. That goal to make it 2-1 changed the total MO of the game. That was a crusher.

I knew either he or Staal would screw it up. Knew it.

I will say this about Nash, he will never be good in the playoffs. I have never said this before, but if we can trade him we should. The guy is just soft. Everything about him is soft. That doesn't work in the playoffs. That's why I laugh when people try to analyze Nash...there is nothing analyze...he is soft as charmin...that is all.

Brutal loss. But really there were alot of players (Stepan, Girardi, Staal, Nash, St Louis) who were either not good or downright brutal tonight. I dont like how they played in the 3rd. I hope that isnt a sign of LA wearing them down on 2 days rest. Gotta try to stay positive and the players who played terirble tonight will be better

That is my concern also Dis. If it is this will be a short series.

Truth is we should be down that we blew a huge chance, but it doesn't get bad until we lose game 2. If we win game 2 this is a series in our favor at the moment. If we lose game 2 done in 5.

So we wait until Saturday and see if we can rebound.

After 2-0 the Rangers stopped skating. Didn't look like the team that had six days off. Lets face it they got outplayed and didn't deserve to win the game. That was a hideous play by Girardi but it just quickly lead to the result the Rangers deserved in this game.
