I'd support that move. He's good at basketball

Jordan Hill is my first pick, I think we might go after Kaman for the Bae or a PG, I would not mind trading CJ/Claver/Wright for Thad Yound from Philly

Re: FA starts in 24 hrs.

Bradley is an RFA so we would risk tieing up money with him and Boston could match, he is also very injury prone and has very limited PG skills, I am unsure on him. The comments below taken from a Boston article:

"Bradley has been in the league four years now and the only one in which he even approached playing the full schedule was 2011-2012. It should be noted that was the lockout shortened season with only 66 games on the slate. Bradley still didn’t play in all of them.

First, it was his shoulders. Then it was his ankles. Now it’s his Achilles. Next, it will be something else. He missed 32 games last year as a result of the shoulder maladies that struck in the Celtics' 2012 playoff run to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, a postseason he could not finish. This year, he’s already missed 19 games thanks to the ankle issues, with his status for tonight's game and the remainder of the season in doubt after he aggravated his Achilles and missed the second half of Monday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls.

That Bradley’s ongoing health woes have cropped up yet again may seem like no big deal given that there are only eight games remaining on the Celts’ schedule and they aren’t going to the playoffs anyway. But when you are about to hit free agency and you can’t stay on the floor, your value, both to your current team and any other potential suitors, takes a hit."

I would like a defensive specialist off the bench. I know our scoring off the bench was shit, but sometimes defense creates good offense.

Having a bench player able to shut down perimeter players would be a godsend

There is a lot of cap space out there that is going to keep us from signing some of these targets listed in this thread.
I guess some of you are hoping for sign and trades.

Monroe will get 12 mil minimum
    Frye will get 7
Deng will get at least 10
Not sure what Marvin and Stuckey will get. Possibly MLE, but I bet just a little bit more.

It is going to be interesting for sure to see if Neil waits to see whats left after the frenzy, or if he shows love to someone within our price range and strikes quickly. I would not wait.

I think we need another ball-handler/creator.
When Mo was injured it was obvious we were only good enough with both Lillard and Batum on the floor but even with just one of them we were already in trouble.
Mo is a good ball handler but creates mostly for himself, Lillard not being a natural distributing PG and not having a SG who can really initiate an offense is compensated by Nic's Point-forward abilities, but still, our biggest need is another PG type player, especially if Mo doesn't re-sign.
I think Shaun Livingston is the best affordable option.

Olshey has always gone after what he wants aggressively. I remember two years ago he was in DC on the night FA started pitching to Hibbert. Would expect that he has his main target identified and will strike when the clock hits 9

I agree, although I think Lillard has proven he is a natural distributor if needed. But we need him to score so we don't always see it. My goal would be to have as many passers and ball handles on the floor as possible. (i.e our 76-77 team)
I think by signing a good PG we become more flexible. Damian can play more back up SG, Wes can play more back up at the 3.

Stuckey, Chalmers, and Livingston all are intriguing possibilities.

I don't really mind those guys that much, but they will still be available later on during free agency. No need to rush to go after them now while giving up a shot at getting better players early on

Re: FA starts in 24 hrs.

I'd be making calls to Pau Gasol. There is talk of the Knicks signing him for $3 million while we can pay nearly double on a team winning more with far better teammates. But still he'll be a long shot.

Darren Collision would be a great backup PG. Many don't think the Clippers would offer him the full MLE. I doubt any team out there pays him more than full MLE so the question isn't the money its if Neil can sell him on coming to our team.

Those are players whom have a lot of value on multi-year full MLE contracts. Outside of that type of super sub player I think Neil might just wait for the first round of free agency to pass and see if any bargains are available after a week or so. I think Neil will want to keep maximum cap flexibility for next summer if possible so that probably means only offering one year contracts. Maybe a player like Marion would agree to a one year full MLE contract.

    Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
On eve of free agency, forward Jordan Hill promises to have several suitors, including Lakers, Mavericks and Rockets, sources tell Yahoo.

Celts just exercised QO for Bradley - he is now an RFA - we ain't IMO going after any RFA's - X him off

Saw a quote that his minutes were limited last year due to terrible conditioning. No thanks

Re: FA starts in 24 hrs.

so you believe a random quote this time of year? I have read a few times it was D'Antoni's rotations that caused him (Hill) and others (Kaman as well) issues. Lakers were a clusterfuk last yr, when he played Hill played very well
