    He'd be a solid upgrade at wing over Dorell Wright. Carter made $3,180,000 last year. 37 years old. I can't imagine that he's our #1 target in Free Agency. I wouldn't think the BAE of $2.1M would be enough to get him, and I wouldn't want to waste any of our MLE to get him. Hopefully we focus our MLE efforts on a Big or PG.

    Not sure what I think about this; he was solid last year but SG is our teams deepest position with Lillard, CJ, Wes, Batum, Wright, Barton, Crabbe, and Mo if he resigns all able to play.

    If I thought there was a Mavs swingman free agent that we might target I would've guessed the Matrix. Played with Stotts on the title team, could be paid closer to the full MLE. Provides defense. Won't turn 37 until next seasons playoffs.

    VC would be perfect for us..so what if hes old..any guy we sign in this $ range will be gone in 2 years most likely anyway

    Not sure if it is poorly worded but that makes it seem more like he was badgered into giving a response, and less like he actually came up with a list of people he wanted Olshey to target.
