Was this Detroit fan drunk? Would they really let us choose which one out of Lopez and Leonard?

Wouldn't Monroe have to agree to the sign and trade?

Hope not. But it does make some sense.

A big rotation of LA/Lopez/Monroe would be sweet.

That would be stupid indeed. Lopez is so much better for this team.

Why would Detroit want lopez they got a center in Drummond. They do need a SG though. Matthews? Mccollum?

I told you guys there was something fishy about the timing of that leak. I think the Blazers leaked it because they wanted to be able to justify to the fans that they at least tried to re-sign him before dealing him.

I'm not sure the Pistons necessarily want Lopez

I mean they do have Drummond

They could want Wesley/Trob or something

Batum? (I thought Drummond was a PF for some reason) He's playmaker, in the right range to have "filler" around him in a deal, and was our lowest ranked starter in a role that is easyish to replace (Parsons?)

He is definitely able to post up and be a big body. His defense sucks big balls though. But it's a price you pay I guess

Hey, if they can get a really good player back in a trade for him, it makes sense to do all of this now before it leaks out he wants out or wont re-sign.

What Batum brings to our team is not easy to replace. Gimme a break

The interesting thing is there was nothing negative that was rumored to come out of that meeting. You would think if they were denied completely even with the 108 mil, it would have come out some how.

I'm wondering if we already have a trade in place for Aldridge, and we're trying to get Monroe to replace him.

My dream would be trade Meyers, Wright, Crabbe, future 1st round pick completely unprotected for Monroe. Throw in second first round pick if need be.

    Rolo/Monroe/Freeland
    LMA/TRob / Clavier
Batum/ MLE (Marvin Williams or Matrix?)/ BAE (Aminu)
    Wes/ Barton/CJ
Dam/ Mo (non bird FA)/ Ridnour (vet min)

Follow a Spurs model of playing everyone less than 30mpg.

I wouldn't move him just so I could have a lineup of LA, Monroe and Rolo. Blazers did that once before a long time ago with Sheed, Grant and Sabas. They didn't stick with it because there wasn't a natural three in the bunch. Don't think there is with this version either.
