No not Jesus Christ, and yes I realize it is probably as likely we see Jesus suit up for the blazers as it is we see Jamal Crawford suit up for us again. It was unfortunate that JC came in the year he did. Hopefully he realizes that playing for the blazers is fine unless they have Ray Felton. Crawford would be exactly what we need off the bench, an easy fix. I'm not saying I don't like what olshey is working on though...building a solid all around second unit is better in the long run, but you can't go wrong with instant offense. Edit: @WojYahooNBA: Agent: If Clippers trade Jamal Crawford - or keep him - NBA's Sixth Man of Year wants summer '15 contract extension. http://t.co/SkJRfEt4WD
Sorry, forgot tweet that kicked off my thinking about his offense off the bench. Granted I definitely wouldn't win him if he's looking for much. I just haven't posted here long enough to know what the view on JC is and if people would take him back.
I would just like to see Olshey's and Blazers name linked to more free agents. You hear them courting one. They could be courting more but if they are Woj and Stein are too good to not pick up on it. And I think prob means they really aren't. As for Crawford. I made this comment on Frye(And the last I heard they haven't contacted him yet), I don't think Paul will dive into that again.
There's a wrestler named Sugar Dunkerton in a Northeast promotion called Chikara. He does a wrestling basketball player gimmick. It might be him.
Hell no. He was unhappy and unprofessional while here. Campaigned to sign with the Clippers during a game when he was a Blazer. Now he is demanding extension while still under contract with Clippers. This is a pattern and he'd continue the poor behavior here.
And this is the FULL reason why I don't want that selfish quitter on my team... Plus he would be a ball stopper on a team that needs ball movement. Square peg, round hole.
I know he had a couple of good years, but I would be against it simply because there is too much bad feeling between Crawford and the Blazers.
