I really don't get why you do this. Olshey is building a bench this summer, not trying to attract top level free agents. Maybe you disagree with that approach, but at least be honest enough to stop pretending that what's happening somehow is relevant to your well stated opinion that top players won't sign here. That may even be true, but what's happening now is irrelevant to that position.
So... 2nd string - Blake/Barton/Carter/ThRob/Frye 3rd string - CJ/Crabbe/Wright/Freeland/MyLe I don't know if the Carter thing is likely, but the rest is not bad for a bench.
That wouldn't be bad, but I think the plan is more ambitious: S&T-Hawes, MLE on a good SF, re-sign Mo, BAE Blake or another experienced PG.
Come on that bench is not much better than: CJ Barton Wright TRob and Leonard At the very least by letting our young guys play they might actually improve or at the very least develop some trade value. That seems much better than giving 3 old scrubs 10 million to come in.

Blake is a pro and a competitor. We need a back up PG and he is one. Great fit IMO. His attitude will benefit our team more than his game.
