    left/right don't mean the same thing overseas.

    A left wing israeli wants peace with the arabs, a two state solution. A right wing israeli favors strong action against the arabs, no two state solution.

    I think you are correct Denny. But the question still stands, neither Andrea nor the article seem to indicate how they know it was a "right" wingers.

    BTW Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, want a two state solution, he just doesn't think they will get it.

    It wouldn't be left wingers if it were retaliation for the recent abduction and killing of 3 israelies.

    Netanyahu has to form a coalition to govern.

    Perhaps they do. And perhaps the media in the US has no idea whether the teens that did the evil deed were right, left or just dumb ass teens.

    An Israeli police spokesman, Micky Rosenfeld, said there was a “strong possibility” that the motive for the killing of Muhammad Abu Khdeir, 16, was “nationalistic,” indicating that it was a revenge attack by right-wing Jewish extremists for the recent kidnapping and killing of three Israeli teenagers in the West Bank. Muhammad’s body was discovered on Wednesday, about an hour after he was forced into a car in East Jerusalem, a few yards from his home.

    I read that. I suppose a police spokesman in this country could identify a teen as right wing (meaning white) vs left wing (meaning black) with maybe 52% accuracy. But how would they do it in Israel?
