I always thought Blake's outside shot was unreliable, no matter what his percentage says. He plays very hard, but so does Mo. He'd be the same as Mo, but cheaper.

Blake might not be as explosive offensively as Mo, but for every one of those 17 point games that Mo has, I think Blake will be much more consistent and less streaky. I would rather have that consistency on the bench.

If you sort this by #CONS (# of games above a specified floor level), Blake had 20 such games and Mo had 22.

But Blake's lowest fantasy output of the season (the MIN column) was a puny 1.7. Mo's was an imposing 6.8.

Blake's range of fantasy scoring (the RNG column) was a wild 42.8. Mo's was an conservative, predictable 32.0.

This irrefutably proves that Mo was more consistent.

Blake's standard deviation (the STDEV column) was an out-of-control 10.3. Mo's was a steady 7.2.

This site was nominated for a Nobel in Sweden and is ranked one of the best.

So here is what happens if Portland signs Blake, 6 weeks into the season Blake has a few good games and gets the idea he should be starting. When Stotts blows him off Blake "accidentally" injures Lillard during practice. The team then goes on a downward spiral, Olshey knowing he will be fired if LA leaves get desperate and brings in some people at the trade deadline giving up our first round pick in the process. Lillard comes back but re-aggravates the injury and we miss the playoffs.

LA then leaves to Dallas during FA, we pay Lopez and Matthews both 10 million a season to resign and fail to make any other significant FA signing.

Olshey increasingly desperate makes another failed push to get this team into the playoffs after Kaman goes down to injury and Robinson proves to be a clone of JJ Hickson gives up another first round pick this one in 2017.

Portland finishes 39-43 misses the playoffs for the second year in a row.

Olshey is fired Portland has now missed the playoffs two years in a row, LA is gone, we lost a lottery pick, and lost a future first round pick.

All because we brought back Steve Blake, does anyone still want him?

Then Paul Allen is forced to bring back Cho, who is too shy to talk but immediately signs Juwan Howard, Sergio, Rudy, Sheed, Hickson, Petteri, Juan Dixon, Viktor Khryapa, Przybilla, and Ime Udoka. With LeBron and Kobe injured, we beat Cleveland on a clutch Lillard shot to take the Finals.

Congrats Portland you won a charity PIG tournament thanks to Lillard, while in the meantime the NBA version of the Blazers is in shambles and while Lillard has become a legit star the rest of the team that looked so great when it was LA and Lillard have started to look overpaid and average. Down two draft picks from failed deadline moves and an inability to find a legit replacement for LA we have become the West Coast version of last seasons Cavs.

Nooooo Waaaaay do I want Blake back he's the reason Greg Oden got injured. Blake got burnt on defense and Oden had to come over and give help defense. Never forgive him for that ;) jk of course. Not my favorite choice I'd rather have Hinrich.
