    That made no sense to me either Vic. A 144 hitter & you throw him a beach ball over the center of the plate instead of wasting a pitch or two & get him to chase one. WTF?

    Hitting 144 I'm sure he's chased many pitches out of the zone this year. Just a very bad pitch selection by Phelps. And costly, like Ron said over coming 2 against someone like Darvich is going to be tough.

    I don't know why Kay keeps saying that Jeter is in 7th place when he's in 8th. For some reason they're not putting Cap Anson on there list. Yet he's in the record books as having the 6th most hits at 3,435. Maybe its because he played in the 1800s (retired in 1897)

    That 0-2 pitch to the 144 hitting Arencibia is the difference in this game. The Yankees have been doing this shit all season, win 5 lose 5 win 4 lose 4. Its a f'king joke.
