So when the last query finally had been asked, Chandler Parsons twisted around in his Mendenhall Center courtside chair, looked at Damian Lillard and sighed.

"This is never gonna leave me, Dame," Parsons shouted to Lillard, who was seated a few chairs away. "I'm going to live with that shot for the rest of my life."

I still don't like pretty boy, but he did say he was misquoted about be ing the best SF in the series and they should win the series.

I like how Lillard says the team was pissed after the Parson statements. Also, as many of us have talked about, there was a lot of trash talking going on during that series.

I don't like how Damien becomes buddy buddy with these opponents, but I understand it and think it is inevitable. I just think Damien plays with an edge and don't want to see him lose that.

Off the court Damian is an ambassador for the NBA. Everyone in the league (save Bitcherly) loves him. As do we here in Portland. On the court, Damian is ALL BUSINESS.

He plays with a chip on his shoulder at all times. He will never lose his edge.

Magic and Isaiah Thomas kissed, but they both wanted to destroy the other's team during games. Jordan and Barkley were best friends, but that didn't stop each of them from trying to rip the other's heart out in the 1993 Finals.

If a player has a competitive edge, friendship with opponents doesn't take it away.

So true on all accounts. Damien is a sociable person everywhere but on the court.

Dwight Howard and Harden deserve each other. I don't like either of them, on or off the court and would never want to play with them. Given Houston's offseason and inability to attract talent even with all Houston has going for it, I don't think I'm alone in that. They devalue their teammates while having inflated egos, lack the intangibles that true stars should have, and both have huge holes in their game. I'd rather have Carmello than either of them, and for me, that's saying something.

TBH, so did every other person watching that game. The whole world knows how clutch that guy is, and given how open he was, EVERYONE knew it was in.
