    Sounds wrong. I was talking about similar ages. 17 and 17, 18 and 17, 17 and 16. That sort of stuff. If you think an 18 year old having a 14 year old boyfriend/girlfriend is cool, that's on you, man.

    No, I most surely do not, sir. However, I'm not convinced that the 13 year old is so much more worldly wise than the 12 year old that he/she is the/a criminal. I mean, if you want to prosecute both for corrupting a minor, that at least seems coherent, though silly. Blaming one and criminalizing one doesn't even seem coherent.

    She goes over the pros and cons of age of consent laws, racial issues , and how often such cases are prosecuted, as well as burden of proof .

    Now, about the contents of that link. I hardly think it supports your argument in the way you think it does. Her strongest argument for statutory rape laws is that it makes the job of prosecutor easier. I'm sure that's true, but I'm also sure that I don't much care about making life easier for prosecutors.
