Wow that's a seriously flawed statement... First, atheism is the lack of belief in a God or deity. If you believe in a God or gods, then you aren't an atheist.

If it's how u choose to believe. Personally, I think you are just trolling... Why don't you really tell us what you believe in?

the whole atheist vs theist thing is kinda boring though, it seems the better debate would be between two theists of different religions.

so close, yet so far away

To tell you the truth, I don't know too much about Scientology. And since I don't know, I won't judge one way or another. So tell me about it. What makes you think they are crazy?

ive stated numerous times that i have no earthly idea. how could anyone? id like to think that i could be spiritual and could find meaning if pressed in our energy constantly being recycled back into the earth.

that said, i like to think about religion occasionally, as there are good parts in most of them.

to me, religions based on aliens are possibly more plausible. that said, there are more people that believe in reptillian overlords than there are scientologists, by my estimation

The movie "Prometheus" is a pretty cool concept. But it only answers our planet. If that's as far as where we would like to go then it's a decent one to believe in.

I'm just looking deeper. Like who created the aliens and so on...

alien worlds could evolve drastically different from us. there could be a super intelligent form of mold or plant with a hive mind capable of seeding entire planets with various forms of life via wormholes. maybe earths plants created animals to eat their fruit and deposit their seeds in large piles of manure. interesting to think about though...if god created aliens, and aliens created us, and we created robots, and genetically engineered sheep-wolves...i think the acid is kicking in

    Hahahahaha!

Think about this... Let's say another planet in another galaxy, or even in our very own galaxy, evolved 1 billion years earlier than earth. Now think of how far we came just 100 years. Now think about some civilization that evolved a billion years from now with our technology as a starting point. It's crazy to think how much more advanced they would be than we are.

i often think about that, its one of my favorite things actually. the theoretical advances (cold fusion, wormhole travel, time bending, etc) that humans have already mused upon would be ancient history to them. they on some new school shiz. carbon melding with star dust to instantly teleport to the inside of our brains on lunch break for example

Just break through with DMT and it can give you a short but intense visualization of that concept.

I've seen things I never thought possible

Ah! Well then you have superseded one of the most significant logicians in history.

Perhaps you should submit your name to replace Kurt, one of the greatest of the 20th century.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_Gödel

Now that the 21st is upon us, perhaps you should take your proper place and receive the recognition for exceptional wisdom.

Kurt in his paper proved his point mathematically, I would love to see yours.

I have his in a book, Goedel's Theory of Systems. I would give you a link but it is to damn hard to find online. But perhaps you can.

Archaeologists one day would dig up these things and wonder what they are.

In an unmailed answer to a questionnaire, Gödel described his religion as "baptized Lutheran (but not member of any religious congregation). My belief is theistic, not pantheistic, following Leibniz rather than Spinoza."[23] Describing religion(s) in general, Gödel said: "Religions are, for the most part, bad—but religion is not".[24] About Islam he said: "I like Islam, it is a consistent [or consequential] idea of religion and open-minded."[25]

I gotten no PM's about any thread in over a week.

According to the mod logs you were the last one to flag/complain about a post and that was on 7/31.
