The most touching part was him saying that the latest generation of SEALs hate him and there's nothing he can do about it. He can't call them his SEAL brothers.

He got stuck in a "when did you stop beating your wife" situation and nobody in the media really wants to acknowledge that he's cleared his name.

The defense had twelve witnesses with conflicting stories, timelines, and locations. Ventura said they resorted to personal attacks and using his television show as evidence of his character or something.

Ventura apparently doesn't drink and Kyle's group had a $1,000 tab at a bar where the owner wouldn't charge them nearly full price, being a veteran himself.

He sued Kyle when he was still alive (I think) and the lawsuit transferred to his estate (his wife) but the media spun it like Ventura went after the widow.

Clint Eastwood is making a movie about Kyle's life but for obvious reasons the non-existent encounter with Ventura won't be in it.

The book publisher will remove the chapter including Ventura in future publications of the book.

Alex Jones kept calling it a PSYOP but didn't get into why he thought that.

Not one of the 11 witnesses against him agreed about the location where supposedly Jesse got punched. Only one of them claimed to actually see the punch (instead of walking up and seeing Jesse lying unconscious), and his story was proven full of inconsistencies on the stand.

The 20 Seals there spent $1000 on the bar that night. That's $50 per Seal. They were all roaring drunk. Their stories were bullshit.

The lawyer against Jesse was the same lawyer against him 20 years earlier, when Jesse campaigned against smoking, and a bogus story appeared that Jesse had been spotted smoking a cigarette.

Alex Jones kept noting that the guy's book, alleging he'd punched Jesse, was published? by Fox or at least heavily sponsored by Fox. After the verdict, Fox News criticized the jurors a lot.

Thanks to the those who put on the recap! Dude gets totally smeared, then people smear him again for "going after the widow". Insurance paid for her defense, but he had to pay a butt load of money to his lawyers. There was an offer to settle out of court but he denied that in order to clear his name. And these kinds of cases are NOT easy to win.
