I think you haven't a clue about the damage that's been going on because of this law. People are paying more for new policies that have less features and MUCH higher deductibles. I met a realtor last night who said he's paying $800/mo for him and his wife and their deductible is $25,000. Good times, barfo. You can't spin this piece of shit into something good. No. I talked to our CEO today about it and he told me what I quoted, directly. If they pay more and get way better coverage, great. But they won't have as much money to hire an extra person as soon, eh? Let those unemployed workers eat cake.
Wrong! The whole point of Obamacare is to eliminate the self insured employers from providing health care to their people. That is or was a huge group and now people will need to buy insurance that is available to everyone, including the previously uninsurable and the unemployed.. Now the big difference beyond forcing everyone into the government controlled pool is, they now can give it to Obama's constituents via subsides. The last leg yet to fall is the employers switching to buy insurance or choosing not to provide insurance. If they choose the latter they save the tax, the risk and the upfront costs, for a small penalty.
It's so sad. So many people were led to believe they could keep their doctor, they could keep their plan and only those making over $250K would pay more. Those people put their hopes in the promises candidate Obama made to them. He lied and they keep believing he has their best interests at heart.
