This win by France is much bigger than the win last year in Eurobasket. Here's the boxscore for that game.
Tony Parker played 37 minutes and scored 32 points. Gobert didn't even make the French team. No Pau, Navarro or Ibaka for Spain. Claver played 29 minutes!

Great win for France! Spain blew it thought, Victor Claver did not see the court and that is the difference right there

The French Coach, Vincent Collet, probably attracted a lot of NBA attention with this win.

They shit the bed back at the 2007 Eurobasket as well, in the final against Russia. That tournament was also held in Spain... Maybe it's a bit of a disadvantage, all that pressure of being the overwhelming favorite and playing at home.

I'll be honest. If it's a matchup of Batum vs Harden in the finals, I'll be rooting hard for France. Woulda been different if Dame made the team.

I think there are owls living in it.

I never wanted him to leave. But I think he and Rudy are happy on probably the 20th best basketball team on the planet. (And I don't mean the Spanish National team.)

Why is Harden so hateable? Is it Houston? Is it the asinine comments? Is it the flopping? Now Kobe's got old, he might be the One.

The beard makes him seem really pretentious. And his game is just too ugly. His comments make him seem stupid.

Dude for me it's everything. I hate his shitty play style, and think its bad for the league. That "I'm the best all around player" comment. The fact that he is paid what he is paid but is THAT BAD at defense. I don't really care about the beard...
