Is this the guy he knocked out when they touched gloves or whatever that was?

Mayweather is a lock IMO. maidana had his chance but couldn't put Money away. And in the 6th Maidana got figured out.

As I predicted, Mayweather easily won by decision. I didn't get to watch, I'm reading about it now, but sounds like a bit of a rout.

If Mayweather is so good maybe he should try the UFC? I'm sure Dana White would give him a shot.

He makes 10x what the highest paid UFC fighter makes and he's 37.

Mayweather will go down as the greatest defensive fighter of all time and people will rarely act nostalgic about his fights.

I hate his attitude, but the kid can fight. He may retire undefeated.

It's amazing how few punches he has taken in his career.

And mags, the way ufc vs boxing is structured monetarily is very different. For this fight Mayweather made 32 million, but the tenth best boxer in his class would be lucky to make $20 grand. But in the UFC, the top players make a lot less per fight, maybe a few hundred thousand to a few million depending, but far more players are able to make a decent living.

This. There is not one true memorable fight he has been a part of imo.

I've honestly lost enthusiasm for boxing. UFC is so much more enticing. One day there will be another Tyson to bring me back, I don't dislike boxing, it's just not as exciting.

There already is another Tyson. You're missing out.

I doubt people will even be talking about Floyd Mayweather being one of the best after he retires. He's in boxing for money and show only.
