You call me "dense" yet you cannot wrap your mind around the nature of time. Since it did have a beginning, there is no "before." You make no logical sense again.

The universe as a closed system had a beginning. Therefore it had purpose, therefore something eternal created the universe. It's simple logic, but you are acting like Simple Jack "puh puh puh puhlease"

See? You can't wrap your head around how time works.

It is physically impossible to observe anything before time started. You are talking nonsense. It's like asking what the score of the basketball game is before the game starts. There is no score, there has been no game.

Odd, so you don't believe in singularity? What the fuck you believe in bro? The universe just popped into existence from nothing?

Now who is the kook?! Lmao

Either you believe in a singularity (eternal whatever) or a conscious God said "let there be light".

Whatever the case, either one must be eternal

The singularity was there at time=0. There was no time < 0.

You resort to name calling when you lose the debate. Funny.

Let's refresh Denny here... Eternal is something that has no beginning or end.

So when I say my God is eternal then Denny said "Someone had to create God" is freaking hilarious.

It's just a word, most commonly used to describe varying levels of affection/attraction for an object or empathetic bonding in a relationship.

If you think it's something that transcends that, you'll have to be more specific in you description. Otherwise I'm assuming you're just using the term non-cognitively again.

Oh okay, so love is just a word to you. Tell that to the mother that runs into a building of fire to save their child. Sorry miss, it's just a word and your child is nothing more than the emotional attachments of chemical firings in your brain.

See this is where I refute your argument. If we can observe "love" then we could manufacture pills to put you in or out of love. You believe that's possible?

Your definition of Eternal means there never was a time=0.

I use it to refer to human attraction/bonding. Again, if you think there's something else that transcends that you'll have to describe it more specifically. So far all I see is you non-cognitively referencing how the thought of "transcendent love" makes you feel without having a clear mental picture of what you mean by the concept.

All evidence is that everything humans experience is the result of evolved physical processes. I suspect you want there to be more meaning than that because of your anthropocentric ego, which is in itself an evolutionary adaptation.

It seems to happen in Hogwarts, so it must be.

Time zero isn't zero on the ticker of your watch. Time zero means there was no time. If something exists at time zero, that means there was no beginning for this object or entity.

It means the opposite of what you keep posting. You just have it wrong.

time=0 is the beginning of everything, including time itself. "Before" that makes no logical sense at all.

No I'm not even brining God into this debate right now. Still you haven't explained how you can prove if someone is in love.

Link please. I would like to read this evidence

No the beginning is the moment of expansion (0.00000000000000000000000000000000001 second). There is no before (beginning) because before (beginning) never existed. Meaning: eternal with no beginning or end.
