    ...so much for that much anticipated pitching duel between Wainwright and Kershaw.

    2 20 game winners

    Kershaw = 8 runs on 8 hits in 6 2/3rds
    Wainwright = 6 runs on 11 hits in 4 1/3rd

    Just more proof that the playoffs are a whole new season.

    The shocker thus far is Kansas City, if the Angels lose that series they'll be the laughing stock of AL West baseball. CJ "pretty boy" Wilson for game three, if I were Soscia I'd be really worried especially if Shields in on the mark. Pity to say this but it looks like the Tigers best playoff successes have come against the Yankees. Price has not looked that good in Detroit we could see two sweeps on Sunday. I do feel that the Nats are a better team than the Giants but the Giants even short stacked found a way in game one. As far as the Dodgers go I hope St Louis gives them a Woodshed Whacking.

    Me too, I love Donnie but some of the players there are just a little to cocky for me. Mainly the loose cannon they call Puig.

    I also love Donnie Baseball but from what I've seen and heard past couple of years...he's not a good manager...and I'm afraid he's a bad manager. And don't tell me he doesn't have good players. lol

    Okay, there - I said it. Now the Dodgers will go out there and win the whole thing. lol

    #1- That highly anticipated show down, was downright painful to watch in the end....

    #2- I'd have to disagree with ya' on this one. I and several Million other Angelinos would do as much....

    You don't think reviving Gonzo to his RBI NL Leadership, was not Donnie's doing??? Do you think Gonzo wears #23, because he grew up a Donnie BB fan, or was the issuing of his #23 was simply a random act...???

    A 1-0 pitching duel going on in Washington in the 8th. Unfortunately my Giants are on the losing end of it.

    Giants tie it up 1-1 in the top of the 9th with a possible 2nd run (Posey) being thrown out at the plate on a very questionable call.

    Bottom 16 now. The record for the longest playoff game was 18 innings between the Braves & Astros in 2005.

    Belt belts a solo shot in the top of the 18th, Giants lead 2-1. Could go home for game 3 leading 2 games to none. There bullpen has been unreal.

    Heard Jake Peavey state in an interview that he felt the Nationals were the best team in the NL going by the record. Gotta give that San Fran team credit for chutz pah and to both teams for playing the tight baseball on would expect from championship caliber teams. More noteworthy at this time is that the Nats are playing with a full deck with San Francisco is missing some key personnel like Morse, Pagan, and Cain with Lincecum in a down year.
