Gordon Hayward keeps throwing down some sick dunks against us. You don't think of him as a high riser, but he's got some serious athleticism. Poor Joel. He went up to challenge, but Hayward kept going higher and higher.

Again I did not see the game so I am curious to hear which aspect of the game he looked really good at. He seems to be getting to the line pretty well in both games. I did notice while following the play by play that he was picked by Burks twice. That does not worry me as much as long as Stotts pairs him up with a true pG during the regular season. I just don't think a CJ/Will combo is a good idea. (Even with Batum in the game)

He travelled big time at the top of the key before he made his move. But the facial was pretty good.

I always said Hayward was going to be a good player. Everybody always told me he was just another white scrub. Dude can seriously play.

Mick I think you are getting your white boys mixed up. I don't think you will find very many posters who ever thought Hayward was a scrub. Not after his 2nd season anyway. Maybe some disagreed with paying him max money, but I think we all would have gladly taken him off Utah's hands.

I'm talking about the leading up to him being drafted. He had plenty of haters. Many thought the Jazz were nuts for taking him so high.

Oh, in that case good call. I talked to a few Jazz fans right after the draft and even they were not too happy.

Are you telling me that my threads I start might offend people?

Don't get intimidated when someone calls you a rookie. They only do that to make themselves feel superior. Us Rookies got to stick together! Welcome.
