I'm going to pencil you in as: "non homer". ;)

    Good to see you!

Wouldn't term it as lame duck. More "uncertain." If we get off to a good start, we'll be good. Faltering in the beginning could manifest into a bad season.

I agree. No doubt there will be more change next summer than this past summer. But none of it should effect this season. Except maybe at the end of the bench where lack of playing time could be a frustration for some.

This is definitely not like that year with Felton, Wallace, Crawful, etc all coming into FA. I think Olshey having a backbone helps in stabilizing the team midset a bit. Plus our FAs have tasted success in this market -- that should also help in this regard.

Yeah I don't mean "Lame Duck" in terms of how the season itself will go, but I do Mean it in the sense of Neils building plan. He either has to swing big during the season or let it all go into an ugly Free Agency period where we could see a lot of our guys leave for greener pastures. I know most the bench is replaceable but continuity is a nice asset.

Great post. Wes will sign for less money and stay here. Mark my words. Those of you who want to "upgrade" at this position can't see the forest for the trees.

Neil has said we are a year ahead in the four year plan. I do not expect us to make a big splash or any moves until next offseason. I think we can improve but a championship this year is very unlikely. As a fan, it feels alot like "waiting for the cake to bake".
