So because McGwire did his his cheating prior to 2003 he gets a pass. Hell someone then needs to inform the HOF committee so he can get the votes he needs to be elected into the HOF.

Lighten up Tom, you said you wanted to see the Cards beat the Giants because Bonds was a cheat (no argument here) & over looking that McGwire was a cheat also while he played for the Cardinals. And then you threw in some really ridiculous crap about Posey being a pussy & Bochy being a whiner which made absolutely no sense at all.

My puzzlement is that you hate the Giants because of Bonds yet root for the Cards dispite McGwire being just as much of an asshole as Bonds was. which made little to no sense at all. And let me guess, when A-Rod & Giambi were hitting all those HRs for the Yankees you booed every one of them.

Didn't say I disliked the giants solely because of bonds. I believe I also cited whiney bochi, the pussy Posey rule, etc. Then there is the stoner lincecum and I haven't even started on my dislike of all things San Francisco.

What I really don't get is how anyone can have more than one team to root for? You're either a Yankee fan or not. To be clear, I'd could care less who wins since my Yanks aren't playing. From an entertainment perspective, the I80 series has appeal.

As a small boy my older brother got me interested in the Yankees. The priest who raised me while growing up in an orphanage went to College with Willie McCovey & got me an autograph picture making me a fan of the Giants. I hope this clears up your confusion.

And Posey got his leg broke & came back stronger then ever, yeah I can see where that would make him a pussy. And they changed the home plate rule because of what could have been a career ending injury & not because the so-called pussy asked for a rule change. And that whiny Bochy is probably on his way to taking the Giants to there 3rd WS in the last 5 years.

...the thread topic is clearly "Post season picks"...and since as you pointed out, the "Yanks aren't playing"...well, it shouldn't need explaining. Just because the Yanks are not in the PS sweepstakes, are we not allowed to pulled for/against another team?
...I don't understand the difference in you pulling against the Giants and Rick pulling for them. If one stance applies, so does its opposite.

Honestly, Mac didn't break any MLB rules? What then do you call, Perjuring Himself before Congress, with the other liars?
Not a MLB rule? Sure it is against MLB rules, to violate the "Code Of Conduct, and Ethics Violations" of MLB....!!!

Giants tie it up in the 9th on a wild pitch. UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE!

Leave it to Romo to fuck up another game. This guy should NEVER pitch in crucial situations.

Both NLCS and ALCS have been damn good games.....

Royals, 1st Team to have (correct me if I am wrong, please) 4 of 6 Post Season games, go into Overtime?

Holy Cow, that was a helluva game. Back to Frisco we go....!

The Cardinals were dead last in HRs in the NL this year with only 105. And only the Royals hit less HRs in ALL of baseball this past season. And they hit 4 tonight. Holy shit! Now the Giants need to take at least 2 of 3 in San Fran.

Good Points Rick, it just doesn't make sense does it? That is: did the Royals, and Red-Birds bring their HR bats to Post Season only?

It may be early, game 2 done and over, both ALCS and NLCS......

If the rest of each Series, continues the way(s) they have. Then this will be one memorable Post Season; to never forget....

Who says, everyone only remembers the Winners, and not those who come in 2nd place. Nice Guys always finish 1st? Not always, in the case of both LCS games. Both League losers will not soon be forgotten....

    lol

I hope you're not referring to Leo Durocher who said:
"nice guys finish last", because you sound foolish.
You're not referring to that are you?...
You're just fabricating your own little expression---"nice guys always finish first" lmao..
What the heck does that mean? lmao

I couldn't care less about the SF Giants and Stl Cards...except I'd love to see the upstart KC Royals clean their clocks in the WS. <---- Now there's a real feel good story

Nice to see the Cards win in big fashion, momentum shifts to their favor. Cards playing like the 90s yanks....different star each night with the big HR. STL fans are happy that Wong thinks he's Derek Jeter, lol!

That said the Royals games have been some of the best baseball I've seen in years. I sure hope Ellsbury and Gardner are watching. From havoc on the bases to outstanding outfield defense. Plus we get the added bonus of watching Adam Jones lose it and the perpetual Buck scowl, lol!
