It hasn't been pretty but we're still just two games into a season that has seen the Knicks beat the Cavs, the Suns beat the Spurs, etc..no need to panic yet. The Kings game was an ugly matchup and we couldn't rebound or shoot all night. At this point I don't want to see Damian on late night or making commercials. He's got work to do and you can see the dropoff. All the starters started the season talking about being elite, but so far they are not playing elite ball. I hope they are angry, I hope Stotts went Bobby Knight in the locker room after the game because somebody needs to wake these guys up. We've lost one road game. It's not time to blow up the team but I hope the coaching staff figures this out soon. Stotts rotations last night were confusing. It needs to be addressed. We gave that game away in Sac town and can't afford to give away many along the way. Damian will not be an allstar if he doesn't start playing like one before the end of the game.
2nd in the NW 1-1 no need to panic...not the point I'm trying to make but honestly, don't you think we've kind of underwhelmed starting the season off? The Knicks and Suns are not as good as the Spurs and Cavs and the Kings aren't as good as the Blazers. Damian has been a no show for most of two games. Stotts when tied against the Kings put Blake, CJ and Dame on the court and left them there for a stretch? These are my points and I hope they addressed them. Our starters are not giving 100% after a long off season
I think it's completely fair to appraise the effort of the season start given the elite status our starters want to own. It's actually pretty common here for all of you and myself to appraise the team on a daily basis. What's hard to understand about that?
We all know that and a preseason, training camp and summer league. Also team USA for Dame and various camps and pickup games for others. It's not like they just picked up a basketball two games ago
We'll be fine. It's ine game. We will likely lose about 20 games this season. Don't overreact to each one.
I'm here, 3rd person? If you know me, you know I'm the last guy to melt down over any season.I think talking about the team is the object of the thread.
Nothing to be disappointed about. We blew out the Thunder with Westbrook at home, winning our NBA record 14th straight home opener. And then we lost a game on the road to a team that usually plays well against good teams. Especially at home. Sweep this upcoming homestand and we're in great shape. 4-1!
