Could names be named? And if so I'm really hoping Ortiz's is at the top.

...but, but, but several years ago Ortiz promised us he would "get to the bottom" of how and why his name was leaked.

...several years later, and he still has not enlightened us...I wonder why?

...the recent election results are a clear cut indictment of Obama's policies and lack of leadership.

I'm afraid the true point has been missed. Everything he's done has been intentional. His party has been ridden over the cliff along with this country. Congress just needs to be cool and act unemotionally constitutional. That will defeat this brand of extreme progressivism.

You don't get more genuine Demo than Oregon....those people voted more for 'No' to drivers licenses for illegals than they did 'Yes' for legal rec pot. There are things that conservatives and liberals can agree on (including libertarians). We need to work together to cull the progressive ideologues and their policies.

Exactly...thanks for finding this key point. Other customers may/may not be pro athletes. Doesn't matter, between this and the other bribe to his cousin, he's got to be in hot water. One angel could be for the FEDs to nail him on RICO charges. Paying someone to pay off others could be considered racketeering. Somewhat thin but it could effectively destroy him.

Again we can only hope. The thought of rewarding this scumbag when he hits 6 more HRs makes me sick. The sooner he's off this team the better.

I didn't miss that point, but I do fear most Americans have... chief-golfs-alot has intentionally screwed over this country

...yup, and considering that he even sued his own union last year, I don't think they would go out of their way to defend him.

I think it depends on the nature of the situation... if it would help their cause, I'm sure they'd still go balls to the wall rather than let him hang there to dry

...oh, they'll at least give the impression they are backing him because they have to.... but I'm not so sure they'll try very hard. I think that secretly, the MLBPA wants the same thing we do, which is for ARod to just go away.

No doubt, filing a lawsuit against his very MLBPA, then backing off.....I bet one can't find a janitor within the Players Union, who would bother to represent him.

Even if A-Roid needed or called upon the MLBPA to defend him, like ya' said, not a chance in hell, he'd be looked at as worthy of defending.

I can envision a convo b/t Alex and the MLBPA...."what, you want us to defend you, when you tried to hang us out to dry over your own indiscretions, and bribes, can't touch this"....

I wouldn't be surprised if he bribed a Lawyer; simply to defend him. That Lawyer would sleep thru most of a hearing, and do about everything to expose him as the Fraud he is. Or do literally nothing to defend him. Overlook any details, that may help his cause, "excuse me Alex, I've still got minutes to go on my coffee break, unfortunately I take my breaks at the most critical times, someone needs to speak for you, so go ahead be your own Legal Representative."

Hammer, didn't mean to imply you missed that point....just the general public... Including those that finally voted against his policies.
