They smoke Bandon Gold there, which is a combination of Corvallis dirtweed, marine epoxy resin, and fiberglass chop mat.
    Really fucks your head up.

I see you are right about the gift, it is now a class 'C" misdemeanor to deliver it to a kid ((A) Is for no consideration;). Wow that's a heavy fucking bust. You would now have to catch him though the possession of up to an once is not a violation. That much would make dealer out of you before. I might have approved of the bill If the penalty for delivery to a minor was perhaps 50 years somewhere bad.

Oh Well, we need to keep the revenue flow up to pay those teachers. No better way to do that than to get the young ones paying the bill as soon as possible.

Another amusing fact - all the text you quoted out of context here is UNCHANGED in the new law. Those passages were already in the law.

I'm just still amazed that pro legalization masses filled out voters ballots and mailed them on time given that so many of them smoke a quarter ounce before breakfast.

Seems like this law is also in direct violation of the US constitution.
SECTION 45. Importing and exporting marijuana prohibited.

Pretty obvious that Oregon wants to collect taxes first. So just banning import from any state sure seem to circumvent these two lines in the constitution. There is definitely preference for where the commerce originates.

"No tax or duty shall be laid on articles exported from any state.

No preference shall be given by any regulation of commerce or revenue to the ports of one state over those of another: nor shall vessels bound to, or from, one state, be obliged to enter, clear or pay duties in another. "

I can't think of a product anywhere that any State has ever banned import of from another State.

I always knew you were a closet democrat. When push comes to shove you believe in a strong federal government and are against state's rights.

Nay, Democrats ignore the Constitution, I think it defines the way, especially the states rights as given in the 10th amendment.

Klamath County is fucked then. All of the other counties around it will rise up from poverty due to this and we'll still be poor.

Let's see, everyone smoking rope will get you out of poverty? Is that what you wrote?

Selling it to Californians when there aren't any other jobs in the region to be had will certainly help.

So making it legal with legal outlets will screw the folks in Klamath county?

Wow! The sharing of revenue with the counties is by the number of licenses the county has. But the OLCC has total control (dictatorial control) of who gets a license and can refuse to issue licenses if they think there are enough in the area.

Holy shit, talk about central control. No Voter input, No local input, no elected representative input. $1000 buck per license for one year. Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington Counties will have a license for every other block,
Klamath county one license, just enough to shut down the bootleggers. Their share of the revenue probably will buy the stamp to send them the report.

It's really very simple. If you want more of the revenue to go to Coos County, you need to smoke more pot. It's your patriotic duty.

Good Point! The law looks as if it was written with that sort of thinking driving the issue.
For sure it got it voted in.
