Currently #11 on the IMDB Top 250 with a shade over 61k votes. I'm a sucker for space visuals and at the very least this movie promises to deliver just that. I've made a point not to read too many reviews because I don't want any spoilers before I see it, however I have read that the movie is visually stunning and that the story is a heartfelt look at human kind. Anyone see this yet or have plans to see it? Only drawback to me before seeing it is its 169 minute run time.
Saw this last night. Visuals are awesome and the storyline is a 7. It's an almost 3hr movie but never felt like it. Nolan did a really good job.
Unlike Contact, this movie is anti-God and anti-religion. Surprised there aren't people protesting because it says some pretty hateful things.
How the fuck would I know? I haven't seen the movie yet, I just made that up. My dad and I are going to see it Monday.
You'll probably be posting from inside the theater... maybe Zoe Barnes will die in this movie as well.
I don't mind long movies at all, especially if the movie is decent. More value for your money In fact, I give anything that runs over 140 minutes an extra star.
That would be a first for a MM movie lol. True Detective Season 1 was headed that way, but the writer and MM totally sold out the nihilism and ruined the season in last few minutes of the last episode.
I saw the aviator in theaters. Once you've done that you become automatically skeptical of long run times.
So far from everything I've seen, Interstellar has been a disappointment. I saw Nightcrawler and that as fucking amazing. Jake Gyllenhaal is a fantastic actor, gotta be considered one of the best around his age.
I saw Interstellar w/ my dad today. We always try and see scifi movies together. Anyway, I thought it was a great movie. 8.5/10.
