. UPDATE: MRI confirms Nic Batum sustained a right knee contusion. He's listed as questionable for Tuesday vs. Charlotte (via @TrailBlazersPR). The longer I don't hear anything the more worried I get. Fingers crossed.
LIke LA, he's been pretty lucky and hasn't been dealt with any huge injuries. I have a tendency to believe that he is ok. Althrough, Chris Haynes last week said he was dealing with a nagging knee problem. He could further injured that same area. Which I will cross my fingers as you said and hope that is not the case.
Like this kind of injury?

He didn't bump knees with RoLo, it was the big white rookie from Denver. His knee banged in to the side of Nic's knee as he was taking off. We replayed our best angle. I blew it up in the truck and you could see it pretty good. Anybody that has played hoops and banged knees with another guy, knows one guy feels all the pain. Who is going to start for Nic? Probably The Trill? Charlotte has a big SF in Lance Stephenson.
...hey Stotts, what the fuck were the starters doing in the game? Un-fucking-believable! Batum is lucky it wasn't more serious. C'mon coach...take the starters out for the final 90 seconds of all future blow-out games please!
...oh sorry, the final 168 seconds (that is when they should have been pulled, while LMA was shooting free throws)!
Hopefully, he'll take the next nuggets game off too. That would give him 6 full days of rest and he wouldn't have to leave pdx. With the offseason he's had, I feel like he could really use the rest.
I think Lance is playing SG. Regardless of where he plays, Wes needs to cover him. That leaves the best match up for Kidd-Gilchrist who at 6-7 235 is not the best perimeter shooter but does well attacking the basket. Maybe Will or Claver, but I bet Terry goes with Wright.
