NL no surprise Kershaw wins his 3rd & in the AL some guy named Corey Kluber of the Indians won it. I have to be honest I never heard of this kid but he did have excellent numbers this past season. 18-9 with a 2.44 ERA & 269 Ks

Kluber shocked me early in the year, when he shutout the Tigers and Twinkies. Tho' a bit higher ERA, a get this .09 Batting average of hitter off of him all year. The guy was darn near invincible, after working to develop his curve sinker.
HIs sinker alone made him hard to hit. Kluber also had more Strike OUts than King Felix, in but one inning. This doesn't surprise me, since Kluber had better stats all around, less the era, than the King.

Kind of ironic that Kluber won using even more of the advanced stats than Felix did in 2010. I thought Felix should win (duh) but Kluber's deserving. xFIP > ERA, WARP > wins. I like the trend the analytics are going toward.

That said, no pitcher in history has had as many starts in a row as Felix with 7+ innings pitched and <2 ER.

I've no doubt that Kershaw would exchange the hardware in a minute.

Bingo, what Bumgarner did all post season was pretty amazing.

Yeah, but if I were building a team around a pitcher, I'd easily and without hesitation chose Kershaw

I agree, but I'd still center a team around Kershaw
