Really? Not sure how they did that, I didn't provide them one. I was in the Army from 1984 to 1991, and then the National Guard until 1995. Deployed from Germany to Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The guy sitting next to me, my buddy Pete, graduated HS with me but didn't join the National Guard until after I had gotten out, and he ended up deploying to an entirely different war...

I was in the Block Party section, and someone said he called me "Wookiee", not by my name.

does anyone know when roughly they showed you? a quarter or something?
i know they did a broadcast thing at halftime showing staffers in uniform etc

I wanna say it was the second quarter. I know it was a downer moment during the game

 

If I was eating popcorn, I think it'd have to be later in the game, probably early fourth quarter...

Yeah, I was watching the game and heard it too. Didn't realize you were so famous. It was a long shot of the block party and called you out " there's Blazer Wookie"

 

What I love is Barrett says "Blazer Wookie" and the camera immediately pans to Chris Kaman.
