That may all be true, as I haven't watched him much the past two seasons. But I'm not going to believe it just because you say it - it's pretty hard to "pad" assists on a shitty team.
I like our team so far. I like not even thinking about trades because we don't suck. Of course you can bring better players in, but sometimes the chemistry is more important
I agree and that would be my only model for brining someone in mid season. It would need to be a "team oriented" player. Probably players that most would scoff at, but would definitely be an upgrade.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lfcnhcm Along that line of thinking with Boston/Sac/Por. Boston gets: TRob McLemore Derick Williams CJ McCollum Sac gets: Rondo Portland gets: Jeff Green
I really like him on the team, he's been great this season for us, but it would be funny as shit if we trade Blake again.
Won't happen. How many decent backup point guard are there who can play with Dame? We've been looking for our Greg Anthony for years.
I know, I'm not saying we should or if it would make sense, it would just be really funny. Signed 3 times, traded 3 times.
It would be even more funny if he was used in a trade, they release him and he resigns with us like we did with Augman.
Personally, I do not find shit to be all that funny. I've stood there for minutes looking in the toilet bowl waiting for it to do something to make me even chuckle. NOTHING!
To much? They barley contribute to our team. I'm sure a player like Jeff Green would be more valuable to the Blazers than Barton/Robinson/Wright. As Uncly Ty said though, four team trades are tough to pull off.
They would have done that in an instant last year. I highly doubt they'd go for it now. Butler is a stud.
