I bought one last weekend. Played around with it in Oregon. Fucking love it. So fast to snap pics, don't have to open a phone past a lock screen, camera app, angle a shot, etc. [IGM]wCoJTKymt8[/IGM] http://www.forbes.com/sites/jaymcgregor/2014/12/02/gadgets-we-love-htc-re/
The great thing is the perspective and being able to control it with your phone. I put the camera on the ground, aimed it and took a pic. [IGM]wFrpD-ymtl[/IGM] I was also at a chinese restaurant. We took a group photo by me placing the camera on top of an inverted glass. Snapped the pic with the phone app. Worked great.
Not really. Its always on. You just take it out of your pocket, aim, press one button and you're good. Granted, you have to have a steady-ish hand. But for casual picture taking and life logging, its pretty great. If you see something you want to shoot immediately, its great. I was in Portland and there was a guy riding a unicycle. I took the device out, and snapped a pic very very quickly. Plus its not huge and bulky like your Nikon.

If its like a camera for your phone because your phones camera sucks, they should just turn the new camera into a phone. Duh
