    Both the Blazers management and the Oregonian are playing with fire and someone is going to get burnt. Unfortunately that is most likely to be the players or the fans and not Quick.

    Quick has always come across flighty to me. Not only in his reporting but I used to listen his chats with the Aussie on Oregonlive and to me it was apparent with his answers and responses.

    The question and timing doesn't surprise me.

    Nothing in anything in Life is a "Slam Dunk" until its signed. The problem with that series of questions is Quick knew it was impossible to answer and he was able to put a negative spin on it. It's the damned if you do, damned if you don't question.

    I assume you're joking but I think If they knew he wasn't coming back. They wouldn't trade him. They would let him go and make a play for someone like Durant when he was available.
