I enjoyed the article. Seriously, I'm not seeing what the problem is in JQ asking LMA that. Best case scenario, LMA says he wants to stay and JQ has a huge scoop of the season. Players being asked what their intentions are when a season is over or a contract is up is normal. I also thought the question leads into a nice article about the long strange history that LMA and the fans have had since he was first drafted by the Blazers. For a long time LMA was viewed as the short leg of the next great big 3. He has taken a lot of abuse by fans up until just last season. LMA ain't forgetting that, neither should we.
Ok maybe i get a little fired up with Quick and my vision is a bit clouded by past offenses. But really why start that right now? The Blazers have won 12 of their last 13 and are in great shape going into a road trip. Again. Why now and why that question when he knows he ain't getting an answer?
When a player says in the pre-season I'm going to address this now and then I'm done talking about it what good did Quick really expect to come from it. He knew what he was doing and it was uncalled for. Unfortunately he also got exactly what he wanted, people like us talking about it. Pisses me off.

The problem is not the question it's the answer that was given. Unless your not a Blazers fan that is. I mean nobody in this forum would give a flying fuck if a Cleveland reporter asked LeBron James if he's planning to pick up his player option at the end of his contract.
How is the answer an issue? he said he wouldn't talk about it during the season. So when asked, he said he wasn't going to talk about it during the season. Seems straight forward.
