First, I don't know if you guys do it here on your side, but our community kind of laughs at anything that starts with "Bleacher Report"... :)

To the question, though, I'd be surprised if even 3 of those come true, and that's including Scherzer to you guys if you decide to back up a Brink's truck. Lester's a decent bet to go to the Cubs, but I don't know how much ammo TOR has. Cabrera to BAL doesn't seem to make sense to me, and is SF really retooling that hard through FA?

I don't get the hostility. I'm speaking to you about them and their observations of how egregiously wrong BR has been in the past, and how just about any article (good/bad/indifferent) is taken with a grain of salt. I'm guessing you hold a higher view of it.

That said, you think BR's right?

    ...lol...and I don't get the "hostility" reference.

...and whether or not I agree with B/R's article posted by the OP is not what I responded to. Instead, it was about your blanket statement about people "laughing" at anything B/R publishes. And yes, I read B/R, and quite often, as I do many outlets, because I like to get multiple views on topics.

...and I'm by far not the only one who likes B/R.

My blanket statement was about people on the Blazers' site ("my community") who also are vociferous readers of many outlets and who look upon BR as one of the worst of them. It's not their viewpoints, it's the quality of their writing and fact-checking. That's all. And why I prefaced it with my non-understanding of your Yankee community--I haven't spend the better part of a decade talking with you guys like I have the Blazers board.

Obviously I'm not going to tell someone what to read or not read.

I check my email every morn for numerous MLB news, and yes, including Bleacher Report....

One thing you might want to keep in mind BrianfromWA, is: All Yank Fans are Bleacher Creatures, tho' that moniker is reserved for the hard core Right Field Bleacher Fans, who would probably prefer sitting out in RF than behind Home Plate.

It's a strong lot, these and most hard core Yanx Fans are....in fact, I can't say I've ever met a lackadaisical, or any Yanx Fan, lacking Historical Knowledge or Our Yankx.....!

But down in Chavez Ravine, you will find 50,000 lackadaisical part time, Fans, who are more concerned if they got enough Mustard on their Dodger Dog, than what's going on in the game....NTM-Bums 6th inning departures, the worst of true fans are in L.A. IMHO.....just saying...!

I'm getting tired of hearing the word "community".

I would like to hear a couple of more "neighborhoods" or "area", or maybe we can occasionally be more specific.

BTW- if you ever take a drive through the deep south, make sure you have a GPS device, nothing less, otherwise, it will take a person a year maybe 2 or 3, to come to grips with this:

(Pull into a Gas Station)..."Excuse me buddy, can you tell me where the Kroger's is"?

Why yeah, go down the street hay're and go past the field of cattle grazin' on yer right side, not them on the left side there.' 'when ya' pass an old beat up white truck, not sure what make it is, then turn left after you pass the 1st Oak Tree, the one that is bigger than the others, cuz if you turn where the 1st oak tree is, you haven't gone far enough, so look for the biggest oak tree, and turn right thay're, if you pass that tree, then turn around, and drive down the dirt road in between those two trees, and drive about another 5 or 10 minutes, til you see a Ice Cream Truck on the corner where that silo is, shit, I can't remember now if that's the red or grey silo, damn it, if you see one your in the right place, but the other yer in the wrong place, and damn it, you made me forget which one. That Ice Cream Truck is on blocks and has no wheels. When you see that corner, then park in the parking lot, go inside and ask my cousin Jimbo where that place is, whaddya say you were lookin' for again. The Kroger? Why heck, you should of said so to begin with, you already passed the damn thing....'...!!!

Damn near like the scene from the original Vacation, when the Griswalds got off the wrong ramp in South St. Louis, but with much more generosity, and down home good will....!

I would just like to comment on the article not the other BS. I would love to see Scherzer as a Yankee. Anyone think that and McCarthy will happen. Who signs Robertson and who is our 3rd baseman Prado?

...as far as 3B, until they know for sure one way or another whether ARod can play or not, they're kinda stuck at 3B. I mean I can't see them committing to another FA 3Bman till then, if at all.

...gotta believe that Prado is going to either be at 3B or 2B depending upon how ARod does and how Refsnyder and the others audition at 2B during ST.

...some other teams looking at McCarthy also, so who knows...as far as DRob and the the possible return to the Yanx, if he will accept a similar contract as Miller's, fine...otherwise, I think the Yanx will pass on him. And like you said a couple of days ago, Houston is supposedly looking hard at DRob.

...and oh, speaking of Miller, according to Cashman, another team offered Miller more money (4 years/$40 Mil) but I suppose he gave the Yanx a discount for the opportunity to play in pinstripes...nice to know.

It was the Astros & that was after the Yankees offered 3 years at $32M. They increased it to $36M after the Astros offer which Miller took because (according to him) he likes playing in the AL east.

No 3B FA signing. When ARod fails, Prado to 3B and Refsnyder comes up for 2B.

Who is playing first when Tex fails, again?

Hated to lose Greene. Makes Scherzer a must in my book. Also think McCarthy is a must as we can't count on Nova (given the rehab & conditioning track record) until late 2015. Tanaka is a wildcard depending on how the tear is being treated. And looks like were passing on Lester and rolling the dice that CC can be healthy and effective.

As for B/R.....in new age media, who ever mines twitter best is going to be breaking news.
