Both are pretty quiet, Not getting green. Slim slim chance on Houston, as USC is already getting an Epic LB class but probably not.
USc getting an epic LB class? What you mean? Think if we win the title we have a better chance of convincing recruits, or is hometown pressure to follow the pipeline to USC too much plus >Sark
heres a local article from Hawaii recapping the HS All State players including a few paragraphs on the Defensive Player of the Year and future Duck DT Rex Manu... it came out the same day he committed to UO. Lots of flattering quotes from opposing coaches http://scoringlive.com/story.php?storyid=12325 STOMP
btw, the rivals buzz from program insiders is that at least one of their current DTs (AA Buckner) has informed the staff they intend to return next season... my guess is that it's Arik STOMP
Buckner and AA staying? I Heard AA might be getting a 1st round grade. And whats the word on Cowart, Sweat's visit, Merrit and Warren and on other prospects? Who are we aiming for?
AA's body of work isn't 1st round NFL in my opinion at least YET! Should he come back and play with Canton, Rex, Balducci and Buckner for another year? I'd say yes, but my hope is the one coming back for sure is the Big Buck to go nuts with Canton on the line! AA has all the tools and NFL size he just hasn't put it together for a full year yet and NFL scouts must have noticed that. I'm also interested about the twins DT's who just de-committed from Nebraska, we need to get them on campus!
I ain't no mole. I'm being real. Byron would want to play with Sweat and stay close to home to boot Oregon again, plays brides maid. East coasters prefer staying close to home. West Coasters want to suck off of USC's tradition and Mora's hype
no not you. I was referring to Sweat visiting. He just wanted to try and get gameplan info and report back to Jimbo
ah. Fun. Also, joined 247. Forsake all hope on Cowart and Greene. For the latter its down to Stanford and USC. Whelp. Durant may be solid on ASU. On the offensive side, I don't know why the Ducks are going after Murray. He seems like a lock unlike both Spatival and Sumlim bolt for greener pastures(HC and NFL respectively). However, transfer may be welcomed, mainly Braxton Miller(contact is minimal if any) and Vernon Adams from Eastern Washington(who tore up Puppies and Beavers in every start). However! There is some hope. Houston we have a shot. Tell too. Also, we may flip Beaver commit Shalom Luani, who had a monster season in JUCO. Kirk Merrit we are feeling really good on, a two way horse race between us and TAMU. On the O-line, Semisi is still an option(UCLA and Texas Tech are making a run though) and Darrin Paulo, a 3* guard out of Sacramento is still being targeted by Oregon and other Pac-12 programs
Not to go to many recruiting years ahead here but check out the kid Tua Tagovailoa from Marcus's high school. Not only does he want to follow in Marcus's footsteps here, the kid is a lefty who has 41 td to 3 pics as a sophomore...
I know. 247 has been talking about him a lot. I hope oregon offers him and locks hkm up. I mean, SEC schools do that. Why can't we.
have always felt Green would lean to Stanford just based on his (& his family) stressing academics. Durant may go to ASU, but Helfrich is currently on a Midwest swing visiting him and Doherty. I'll continue to have my doubts on 247 "info". They put more stuff out then rivals to be sure, but most of this extra stuff is just guesses posed as fact based on the same few facts that everyone is privy to. Anyone can can make guesses Seth Green was locked up midway through his Junior year, so I don't get the complaint. With the sustained success of the coaching staff, maybe there is something to their deliberate process that fans should embrace rather then being dazzled by stars or highlight tapes. Besides that, being a Duck QB is becoming a very sought after spot. If a prospect wants that honor, maybe he should camp at Oregon like Mariota, Mahalak & Green did? Personally I thought he looked very composed and athletic in his film, but he is smallish and seemed not to have quite the zip on his passes that the aforementioned kids do. Definitely someone to keep on eye on though STOMP
couldn't that same complaint be said for every single time a prospect who visited decided to go elsewhere? As far as their commitment list, they're well ahead of where they usually at for this time of year. Even with reduced visits available, my guess is like every single year prior they'll finish the cycle with several unused OVs available STOMP
No it can't, we are on OV restrictions still that put us several below our normal don't use em all up status.
What's the news on Canton? Is USC sniffing hard? How many recruits flip our way when we win the national championship is my thought?
It seems you only read the first line of my post. Feel free to read the rest...they won't use all the OVs STOMP
