Rondo will want a big contract. Would that eat up all Dallas' cap room this summer? I hope so.

I don't see it as a good fit for Dallas. Monta Ellis had 25 points and 8 assists last night. (11-20) Why would they pair him with a PG who needs to dominate the ball to be effective?

They would be immediately better. Rondo is arguably one of the best PG defenders in the league, can rebound very well and is an assist machine. Dallas lacks wing defense and rebounding. This would be a perfect situation that could propel Dallas into major contention.

I love Rondo. I would love to have him in Portland. He and Lillard could work because Dame can shoot from anywhere on the court. Rondo could set up Dame.

But Dallas is winning because of Monta. You take the ball out of Monta's hands and it will be Milwaukee and GS all over again. How did that work out?

I'm a little confused here... You said Rondo and Dame would work because Dame can shoot. I know Ellis isn't as deadly as Monta, but that kid can shoot. Also, they have parsons and dirk as well. Giving Rondo 3 very capable 3 point shooters while Rondo runs the plays is disastrous for any defense.

We need to do whatever it takes to not make Rondo to Boston happen.

Eric sending autographed pics to Boston would surely swing the vote.

Monta Ellis is a scorer. He attacks the rim a lot more than Dame (Who is more of a shooter).Monta needs and wants the ball in his hands most of the time. No need to set him up. If you take the ball out of Monta's hands then he becomes more of a jump shooter and more inconsistent like he was in GS and Milwaukee.

If he controls the ball like I am sure he will, then Rondo becomes a spectator. Rondo might not work in Portland either, but I think the chances would be better next to Dame than next to Monta.

Wow, that's a dangerous play. I don't know what Barrett was looking at but the first view was the best at showing just how far he was pushed, causing him to fall. Shades of Ariza - Rudy. Scary.

Yeah it was a bad fall, my dad and I were pretty close and you could hear the smack on the court.

Yeah man. I don't think Sanders meant to hurt him, but it caused the momentum to force nic sideways. If Nic didn't land on his arms and side first, that momentum could have been life threatening if he landed on his head.

If Rondo is traded I have to think Jeff Green and Bass are available as it appears Ainge is rebuilding

Bass, yes. Green, no. Green is still young enough to be part of the rebuild.

    Green is LMA-aged, iirc.
