College games are better than pro games, but there's still a weird vibe that you get at football games that you just don't get at basketball or baseball games.

It's the Hatfields and McCoys syndrome. Although I live in Lane county, my son went to OSU..OSU fans are usually Oregon fans across the board but Duck fans hate Beaver fans for no apparent good reason. Go figure? People don't like any sport in America that ends 0-0. That's soccers problem here.

They have the distinction of a city that couldn't keep it's basketball franchise.

Seattle sucks. I hate being around most of the tools that live in Seattle. They act like Seattle is so much better than Portland. Fuck the narrow roads and shitty freeways of Seattle.

I dislike everything Seattle. But I'm not gonna lie. I loved ken griffey Jr, and Gary Payton. And beast mode is awesome to watch.

    But Fuck seattle.

They have the worst strip clubs ever

Some of the nightlife bars are pretty cool. But in general I agree w/you. Of course, I don't really like the people in Portland either. Half the men are wearing their girlfriends jeans........ but whatever...

    Would Harden be a flounder?

What kind of fish flops the most?

Maybe they should just name a fish after him?

Disagree. $$$$$$ is whats keeping that from happening. Whether it be pay to play as a youth, or where the big $$$ is when kids become adults. The difference between US and other countries, is other countries' best athletes, play soccer. Here a bajillion kids play soccer, but when that "cream" rises to the top they arent flocking towards lower paying soccer. Its the higher paying sports that get the best athletes, with good reason.

Soccer's popularity in the US is a very chicken and egg thing. Higher salaries arent gonna happen without more revenue from TV contracts. Huge TV contracts arent going to happen without higher quality players, that cant be afforded without said contracts.

A game that can end in a 0-0 tie will never be the most popular on merica'

An NFL game could end in a 0-0 tie too.
