Why? We had two opportunities at wide open 3's to seal the game but Matthews missed. Matthews is one of the deadliest 3 point shootersin the game

Lamarcus Aldridge made a game of it. He deserves a shout out!

Atlanta is going to murder us. If Cleveland did this without James, what the hell is Atlanta going to do to us?

    Get the body bag ready.

If Dame wants to be the man and have his own shoe, he doesn't get a break. 21% shooting. This has been going on for games now.

LA will need to get like 70+ because at this point ive lost a lot of confidence in most of our starters. Wes has kind of been switching off from good game to bad to good etc so hopefully he will be of service next game.

We just wasted a 38 & 11 game from Aldridge ... and we have the hottest team in the NBA up next. Awesome.

What are we now? 2-6 in our last 8 games? Gross. Hurry up, All-Star Break. You can't get here soon enough.

There's a whole lot more to winning games than just taking long 3-pointers. And if they aren't falling the coach NEEDS to make adjustments to get his team higher percentage shots. It's been weeks and Terry hasn't shown any ability to help his team when the offense isn't working.
And there weren't that many open 3s...

He gets a break from me and his shoe endorsement has nothing to do with a shooting slump in my view.

He simply got into the zone. No defender was slowing down Irving tonight.

You see that go-ahead three? Batum got his hand right in his face, but good offense beats good defense every time.

Dame has been dogshit since his stupid shoe release. And Batum was straight trash as usual. Wes had an off night.

Dude it took 3 years for his system to finally sink in on D and the team is ballin hard on that end night in and night out. Can't just give up those 3 years of development on that end on a whim. Offense will catch up with the D soon enough. It too 55 from one player and Dame to continue his historically bad shooting slump for them to barely win. Can't fire a coach on every loss.

36 to irvings 15 the first game last season. 27 - 9 last game. So Irving had a plus 20 this game. So far, Lillard holds scoreboard

Agreed. He's obviously tired ... Wes, too. Those guys have been shouldering the load with RoLo, Freeland, and Batum all banged up as well as LA missing a few games here and there. It's also the middle of January, I can't recall any Blazer team that played well during this part of the season.

you are awfully generous. Look at this way with the exception of the Spurs game, the ones we have lost were very close. Had Dame been even half as competent as we know he could and should be we could have easily beat teams like the clippers, grizzlies, and the suns. And do not even get me started on us losing to Boston where he was pretty much a non factor again.
