    The NFL wants performers to now pay to perform at halftime. That limits who will perform.

If I was perhaps Bruno Mars I would wear a BMars Jacket shirt hat and shoes to match with a website decal attached to my forehead if I could get the general public to pay. Did this just start? The NFL would capitalize on anything to feed their profitable appetite.

    They asked those who were interested in performing to pay this year but they didn't make any of them do it. That could (and probably will) change in the future though. The NFL has never paid acts though other then paying for their expenses.

    Never connect R&B with the word pop shit...in the music world any artist that cracks the billboard top 40 is a "pop" artist..that only means a lot of people buy the record, has nothing to do with the style of music...learn musicology, then post Pop artists have been Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Aretha Franklin and James Brown...just a few examples...non of those folks recorded.."shit" music.
