CJ is a good guy so I'm not worried about that. I just honestly don't see his fit in Portland long term. I mean the best case scenario is he becomes our 6th man but do we have the time for that to develop when he could get us a sure fire 6th man now?

I think Olshey has shown he is patient. How he is keeping the owner under wraps who has an aggressive history in making moves to improve is beyond me and way over my head.

Being patient with a 23 year old combo guard who isn't a starter is something that is nearly impossible to do for me lol I can understand the big men getting 3-4 years of slack but man guards are tough to wait on.

Well, it was his er their pick. Don't you remember the high five they gave each other when they landed him draft day?

They believe. And they're going to get it out of him.

54 wins and getting to the second round could have something to do with it. There is something to build on here. Allen knows it just as much as we do.

I think it's an organization that is allowing it to bake and simmer. Who knows, next year if they can hold on to everyone which will be tricky could be a very big year.

Nothing gives me more pleasure than when the Blazers beat the Rockets. I don't hate any player more than James Harden. At the same time, I hate how he gets away with his BS even more.

23 FTA for Harden is absurd.

It works in the regular season but going into the lane and falling like you've been shot doesn't work in the playoffs.

More than absurd, something wrong with the game. The officials are permitting this phony to con them repeatedly.
I sincerely wish we had one or maybe two bench players that could come in, play this guy and send his arse out into the high priced seats when he begins the flop game.

As much as I would rather they have beaten them both, if you asked me which team I'd rather win against on the road (Houston or Dallas) it'd be Houston.

It's good they got one. I've started to wonder just how good this Blazer team is. It's not like they're not trying. But they're losing.

Simple - PA is focused on the Seahawks.

IMHO, this not a good thing. Last season was a big step forward for the team. The goal should have been to keep moving forward.....not "awe shucks, let's see what happens."

I don't believe that. I think he and Olshey have a plan and have put it into motion. I think it's one very similar model to the one in SA.

If he didn't care, you wouldn't see him at all these ball games.

Blazers are Paul's baby. Allen has very little say over what the Seahawks do, Pete Carroll and John Schneider are in full control.

Sometimes I wish Paul had very little say in what goes on with the Blazers too!
