Nope, it took me 52 minutes to distill that list out of this database. http://prosportstransactions.com/basketball/Search/Search.php
Which is why I also included the 2013-14 numbers as both players were in very similar situations playing similar roles - starters on bad teams (Martin on MIN and Afflalo for ORL). Besides, I think when comparing individual net production stats, the advantage goes to the guy coming off the bench. Afflalo gets to play a lot of his minutes against the opponents' back up SGs, while Martin starts and plays the bulk of his minutes against the best SGs in the league. BNM
Be honest now. You have that framed in your kitchen, or you have matching printed sheets and pillowcases right?
Every single time I see 'KMart', I think Kenyon Martin. Not once have I ever seen 'KMart' and thought someone was talking about Kevin Martin.
Hard to believe the refs "fell" for that one. Even though it shouldn't be, since this kind of bad officiating is "apart" of the game now. I just can't get used to it. SMH
Which is why players/coaches/owners should be able to blast the 'officials' the NB freaking A puts out on the court. Fining people for simply telling the truth while refs gain a personal vendetta against said player/coach/team while never losing their job is ridiculous. Refs are like tenured teachers, they can pretty much do whatever they want out there..
It's something I tagged on Kevin Martin and I'm aware the rest of the world calls Kenyon Martin that, I called him asshole. Sort of like Birdman will never be Bird to me either.
But he wasn't bird. He is birdman. Bird was bird. You calling Kevin Martin k-mart is like calling Bird, birdman.
and this is a point of contention? you realize it doesn't mean shit right? I can call any player any name I choose to, and I do..Kenyon is asshole to me and Kevin is Kmart..call me a nonconformist. Sorry if I broke the unspoken nickname rule
I call him leonard, so we are like the power rangers. By ourselves, we are pretty good. Together, we form a mutant mega robot called "Meyers Leonard"
Tough part in comparing the net production between the two, of what they got and what they gave up, is Kevin Martin is almost by rule hidden on to the worst of the 3 wing options when he is playing defense. Afflalo is generally going to be on the best wing player. So if both were to play OKC, Afflalo would spend most of his time on Westbrook or Durant, and Martin would likely shadow Roberson around the court.
Yep, which is why I'm perfectly OK with Martin. He wouldn't be starting and won't be tasked with guarding the Durants and Hardens of the world. That's why we have Batum and Matthews. BNM
