A breath of fresh air.....and some sanity? lol http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=buster-olney&id=9409&src=desktop
Yeah annoyed because your link only works if you subscribe to the INSIDER.Which I'm guessing most of us don't.
...I can't read it either and there's no way I'd ever actually pay to be an "Insider" whatever the hell that represents and implies. ...but I have to assume that the OP is referring to me, and why, only he and his therapist knows for sure. The one central point around this whole debate that he cannot seem to wrap his head around is that being a Yankee fan, of course I root for them to succeed and I have every year for the past 50 years or so. So yes, I'd love to see them win "90+ games" but the heart of the matter for me is that considering the way this team is currently constructed, realistically, I just don't see it. ...but it's not just me because there are many others who see it the same way...if in his mind that makes us bad fans or a "weird pessimists" or a "puppets" or an "attack dogs"....well, so be it.
To borrow a line from X-rated singer John Valby I find Olney to sometimes be more full of shit than a septic tank and thinking of the Yankees off season deals Cashman is as well.
Easy there '59, there are plenty of people who think the Yanks are an 82-ish win team. I wasn't referring to you. Mostly the "expert" media types.
...I have no idea, hammer...I'm not an insider either. Don't understand why RSPN expects you to pay for the "privilege' of reading their articles.
Thanks for sharing a link that no one can read. I'm sure it was interesting, especially coming from the idiot Olney.
...yeah right. ...why would the ""expert" media types" be "annoyed" by something that Buster Olney wrote?...was he "annoyed" when they voiced their opinion? ...Your explanation is BS. Your "someone is going to be annoyed, lol" thread title is the very same phrase that Rick used earlier...so you can stow that "what, who me?" denial crap because you were clearly trying to stir up more shit and you know it.
No need to be an "insider"..... This Is what was posted for all to see. ___________________ Despite limited offseason moves, expect the Yankees to come back stronger in 2015. To understand how adept casinos are in their business, all you have to do is look around as you walk the Las Vegas Strip. Those massive buildings, with all f their glitter and lights, are there because the folks who run them know what it takes to win. When betting lines are established, well, you’d be crazy not to take them seriously. But there are times when the lines raise an eyebrow -- like when they set their over/under victory projections for each of the 30 teams in baseball. On Friday, the Atlantis sports book in Renoposted their numbers. As usual, some are surprising -- and heck, they might even look like an opportunity, if I ever bet on baseball (and I don’t).
