Trading Kaman for Craword makes a lot of sense for both teams... Essentially they're the same role of bench scorer but LAC has a bad frontcourt depth problem and we don't have a guy who can truly create his own shot off the bench (CJ is the closest thing we have and he isn't ready). As long as we don't give up the 1st FOR Crawford I'd be fine. The 1st should be used on Chandler.

Hell even if Jerm is done there are guys that can fill the third center role like Okafor, Gray or Dalembert.

Last three teams I've spoken to convinced Denver WILL get first-round pick it wants for Arron Afflalo and think it's coming from Portland

They play similar roles, but we'd be adding chandler to in some part create for himself off the bench. I'd prefer both a big and a wing who could. Moving kaman leaves us with Aldridge as our only post up threat on the team.

Chandler isn't a creator, he is a slasher/shooter but he can't go ISO and get you a bucket if all options have failed when we don't have Dame/LA on the floor.

Also, Kaman's post game is flashy but his handle is so loose and teams have adjusted to him. Leonard imho is the better player now.

Still rather give up that pick for Chandler

I do like Afflalo a little better.....but I kind of agree with you. I like the guaranteed contract for Wilson.

I just wish Olshey was really good friends with the Nuggets GM... I have this scenario in my head:

Neil: Hey Tim, we really need a good wing for our bench..

Tim: Well Neil... You know what gets my dick hard? Helping out a friend, how about T-Rob and Barton for Chandler straight across?

    Neil: DEAL!

Don't know how to do tweets, but this is Mark Stein:

I guess I just found out how to do tweets.

Unless.....Neil is thinking that it is worth the pick to have a backup plan in the case that Wes is offered a crazy number that they just are not willing to match. Would a trade for Afflalo's give us an advantage in resigning him? like a longer contract?

Would this mean Victor gets waived?

Are you in the right thread? Maybe if we signed Prince. Not if we traded two players to Denver for one in return

Or even better (and yes, I know I'm responding to my own post), Denver doesn't insist on CJ, but only really cares about the pick. TRob/Wright/pick to Denver and Will/Claver to Minnesota would actually be enough salary for Chandler and Martin.

    Dame/Blake
    Wes/Martin/CJ
    Nic/Chandler
    LA/Nards
    RoLo/Kaman/Joel

Looks like a roster that could use a few minimum-salary vets. KryptoNate, Prince, and Jermaine could fill those holes quite nicely.

Crawford sucks in playoffs. No thanks.

Jermaine O'Neal is not playing this season.
