It isn't good Mess. He was solid against the Bruins before we knew Hank was out long term, although not many shots against. He was real good against Zona. Outside of that it has not been good at all. Bad goal and rebound waiting to happen.

Shows you just how good Hank is.

Yeah you have to admit Talbot sucks. 27 goals and 8 games is a lot

The defense has sucked ass. They were getting beat on the outside all game long.

Interesting time. Based on the past handful of games maybe we should get a dman instead of a forward. Close call now.

Maybe big chip dman smaller chip depth faceoff forward.

AV was an idiot for not playing Nash in OT. Your leading goal scorer does not sniff the ice in OT. Beyond stupid.

It was off a rebound of a weak shot. Most goalies eat it up but Talbot put it out to the left and was put back into the open side.

They were playing 4 forwards, and then pulled the goalie. Had the puck in the Rangers zone for like 2 minutes straight prior to the goal. No surprise they scored. I was surprised Cam left a rebound though...:).

With the way this defense has been playing plus a backup in net, nothing is surprising.

I have to ask Step, you related to Cam? The guys numbers are awful since he took over, and all you do is get on the D.

    They had a crazy 28 shots...wow.

Stop blaming the D and focus on the subpar goalie play. D has not been great, but Cam let's up soft goals every game.

    .900, .870, .880, .882, .897, .971, .884, .857

The glorious sv%'s in Cam's 8 starts. So ONE game with over an .900 sv%.

29.6 shots against per game on average.

25 goals against in 8 games. 3.12 gaa.

The problem is going to be that everything we know about Cam the upcoming teams know as well. The glove is going to be tested continuously.

He gives up some juicy rebounds but he's still one of the best backups in the league.

He is incapable of controlling rebounds, and cannot catch the puck for some odd reason. Awful glove hand and cannot catch..bad mix.

Forget the record, which of course is the most important stat but forget it for a second, and look at his play only. If you do that all you can say is he's been bad...period.

The kid may be a disaster and nervous tomorrow night, but I am looking forward to seeing him get a game.

Look, Hank is an elite goalie, so we are used to playing with that safety net no doubt. The D needs to be tighter because Cam cannot save them like Hank does, but come on Cam has been bad.

We need to adjust without Hank though, that is clear. Safety net gone for now.

Also shows you, and I was wrong here, Hank is a HUGE reason we are up there in gaa every year. I mean I knew he was, but this stretch shows just how key he is.

Now a decent goalie and we'd be better, but still not a top 10 D without Hank. Maybe 10-15 IMO with a solid goalie. Bottom 10 with Cam.
