Your Seahawks picked up Cary Williams Good Luck wih that move. He was a schmo with us in Baltimore and glad to have him pack his bags. On the other side of the street the Graham deal was fabulous.
Torrey will be missed He is a class guy with team mates and community. He got a great place and we are able to promote Aiken and Brown . Hope we draft Jaelon Strong.
I think Williams will be okay in our system, he has great size, athletic and he is pretty physical from what I've seen.
Jake Locker retired? Wow! I know he had injuries and all, but still a huge bust. Guy was super talented in college. One of the great college talents I've seen at the QB position in college.
+> The day he left us he was all filled with wind and smoke. However, He does bring toughness acquired theough our D. Check him through the season to ascertain intercept, passes defended and tackles stats compared to the team AVG.. WE actually could have used him since the Eagles were out of the playoffs before the season ended . Question.... and its obvious. Was that a PCarroll call at the end or an option to pass by Wilson? I know heartache. This playoff to the hated Pats and the 011 AFC champ gane where Evans did not retain and Cundiff did a "Scott Norwood". Good Luck Bro!! I'll root fo ya if same for me . With the Steelers,Bengals and always gritty Browns our division is intense I've been to my Ravens games and the Db level was up to 129.
Looks like the Eagles are going to sign Ryan Mathews to replace LeSean McCoy. I wonder how much better he'll be in Chip's system than he was in San Diego. If he can stay healthy (seems to be the refrain for all of their pickups this year), I don't think there will be much of a drop-off.
But...Stephen A Smith says that "Riley Cooper is Chip's kind of guy". None of those RB's are Riley Cooper-esque. I'm confused...
Graham is definitely an upgrade weapon-wise over anything the Seahawks have had since Wilson arrived, but I just think his name recognition outshines his play on the field. He has dropped off the second half of the last two seasons due to injury, refuses to block, and honestly doesn't seem like a great fit culture wise. He's clashed with the Hawks before, and lets be honest...JG is a pussy. You be physical with him at the line and you can take him out of the game. Not to mention his complete lack of will or skill to block at all.
His numbers aren't terrible in the second half of the season from what I looked at (but then again, I'm a 'Hawks fan and 50ish yards and a TD by a TE looks good lol) but his numbers will never be at that 80-90 catches 900-1000 yards in Seattle, it's just not how our offense works. He will get looks downfield and in the endzone though. He will have to adjust to Wilson extending plays, that will be his biggest learning curve (blocking isn't a huge concern because we still have Willson who is decent).
I was looking more at totals from the first and second halfs where he averages 500-600 yards in the first 8 games and then falls to about 300-400 in the last half. Obviously SEA fans are used to those figures for a whole season from their TE. I don't mean to sound horribly negative, Graham is a great player. I just think that his reputation is a little overblown for his impact (at least statistically) on the Seahawks. The biggest impact he will have is opening up the field a little more for Lynch which should make Beast Mode even more dangerous.
not much noise on the Broncos front. Last year had some flashy moves, but this year, depth signings so far
