If he wins regular season MVP, it will be a travesty. He's padding his stats by putting up a shit ton of shots and paying off the OKC official scorekeeper. That "tip" that they counted as a rebound after the fact (and after he begged the scorekeeper to give him credit for it), was a joke. At that moment, somewhere out there, Ricky Davis was embarrassed for Russell Westbrook. Davis may have done some crazy shit in the name of chasing a triple-double, but he never had to beg the official scorekeeper to alter the boxscore to give him one.

100% agree. He's become so unbearable as of late. Durant being injured has somehow turned him into something AI would be embarrassed of

Yep, even during Iverson's highest USG% season, he had a lower USG% than Westbrook, but still averaged 4 more ppg.

All the gushing over Westbrook's "historic" play makes me sick. Never in the history of the NBA has a player used so many possessions so inefficiently.

Mark Jackson definitely has a conflict of interest. He's lobbying hard for Westbrook for MVP because if Curry wins it, it makes Jackson look bad (make that worse). After listening to Jackson slobber all over Westbrook, in a game his team lost due to his selfish play, I hope Curry wins MVP and Kerr COY.

Did he actually do that? I'd be embarrassed as a fan if a player on a team was begging for a stat.

Yep, that's exactly what he did. He attempted a tip in that came nowhere close to going in, and then after he came out of the game, he signaled to the official scorer that he should get credit for a rebound on the play. So, he came out of the game with 9 rebounds, but the final boxscore lists him with 10 rebounds and another triple-double. I'm not sure what the official rule is these days, but when I was in high school/college (yeah, it's been a while), you only got credit for an offensive rebound on a tip if you tipped it in. If you did, it was consider a controlled tip and you got 2-points and credit for an offensive rebound. If you missed the tip, it was considered an uncontrolled tip and you didn't get credit for a rebound. That's exactly what Westbrook's phantom 10th rebound was - an uncontrolled tip that would up in the hands of an opposing player. Giving him credit for an offensive rebound on that play was complete bullshit.

This clears the way for Westbrick to set the all-time record for USG%. Now, instead of 30 FGA per game, he can jack up 40.

Ibaka was the only real 3-point threat in their starting line up. They are starting Kanter and Adams together - both who can only score within 10-feet of the basket. Teams should just pack the paint and dare them (or, him, in this case) to shoot from outside.

Kyle Lowry with a triple double (20/11/10). Thanks for doing it tonight, Kyle!

    Blazers might have lost but....
    So did the Thunder.
    Westbrook's line..
    36minutes, 7-17 from the field, 1-4 from three, 9-10 from the line, 8 rebounds, 12 assists, 7 turnovers, 4 steals, 1 block, 24 points.

To be fair, Rondo didn't do well in the assist to turnover ratio either.
But my opinion of Rondo is lower than dirt.

That is the consensus but the consensus is also that Kobe is better and that he isnt a top 10 player of all time. Both are two things I strongly disagree with.
