Do you remember the president talking smack about the Supreme Court during his state of the union speech? #president_is_the_traitor
BTW, I'm all in favor of Obama negotiating with the Iranians. If he is successful, he might actually earn that Nobel Peace Prize (which was a joke).
The Republican Party is just awful. They lack leadership and without it their direction is often silly. This is an interesting read: https://medium.com/GroundGame/what-jeb-bush-is-like-in-person-5b10b14a5c8f (James Pindell is a political TV commentator for the local ABC station and appears weekly on radio on WGIR news station in New Hampshire)
Actually, I am in favor of more golf. Even if it means paying for more Air force 1 flights. Perhaps he can negotiate a senior tour deal.
Really? Haven't I said the republicans look like idiots? I don't think they did anything wrong, just stupid.
“You don’t diminish your office by taking a selfie. You do it by sending a poorly written letter to Iran."
The dysfunctional GOP is failing to govern "There is no plan. Republican majorities in both the House and Senate are so out of control that they’ve managed a feat once thought impossible: They make the Democratic Party look like a model of unity and discipline."
The small lining of hope I see in this is that there is at least a 7-vote schism in the (R) party. I'm a big fan of people voting on the issue, not because there's a D or R next to their name. And no, Mr. Robinson, I don't expect "unity and discipline" from my elected officials. I expect debate, compromise, etc. Neither the D's nor R's have a stranglehold on good ideas, or good ways to combat horrible ones.
I would like to think you are correct Brian. But then look at these Democrat things that get passed, mostly by Democrats. The only way to over come that is with more Republicans. I find I can hardly ever agree with a Democrat on what they want. The Republicans are only out of step about 20% of the time.
If you think this is the sign of educated, you have leaked far left. Perhaps even worse. "As things stand, it is possible to argue that the most capable field marshals in Congress are Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (Nev.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.)." Now I would not have sent the letter to the Iranians, but nothing wrong with the letter going to the American people. Maybe via full ad on Fox, MSNBC, CNN and the Wall Street journal, New York and La Times.
