Yep, if you consider both team success and individual stats Curry should be a unanimous MVP, but there's always one Chuck Swirsky in every crowd who will blindly vote for "his guy" no matter what. BNM
I don't see how Harden isn't close and shouldn't get some first place votes. The Rockets are third in the west (flirting with second) despite not having their #2 guy most of the year; he's 2nd in the league in scoring, and has comparable advanced stats to Curry. I tend to agree that a 28 PER with (almost) 50/40/90 on a 65+ win team should probably earn MVP, but I can acknowledge that there is a valid counter-argument.
