Against teams the Blazers should blow out 9 times out of 10.

Awful defense loses games for you.

Chris Paul absolutely abuses us. That's 2 games against the Clippers this year where we were up big and let them come back.

We will have HCA. We have tiebreaker against the Clippers and Spurs.

The Clippers just have one tough game left and that's against the Grizz in LA. They will probably win out. We still got tough games at Golden State, OKC, and Dallas.

What's frustrating is he looked improved defensively early in the season.

Oh, I don't know - maybe try fucking trapping on the pick and roll like the Spurs and just about every other team do?

    I blame Stotts.

Right? That's what we're doing now, yeah? Did I do that right?

We will if we play the Clippers and refuse to tailor our defense to our opponent, rather than literally letting them play to their strengths. Letting Chris Paul to the paint with little resistance, then collapsing is exactly what he wants. We collapse and give up a wide open shot, or we let him shoot an open FT line jumper. It's not a coincidence that he has killed us all year. It would be like other teams deciding to always go under the screen against Dame and let him shoot open 3s all game. He'd average 40 a night.

If it works so fucking well, why does Chris Paul even average 20 points a game? Obviously, if trapping the point guard is so fucking foolproof, he'd average 9 a game, right?

I'm not saying Stotts is terrible, I just think we can do better. He is a top half nba coach but he has his flaws and they're pretty obvious. I wish I had an answer for what the team should do but I don't and only Olshey can change anything. This will be one of the biggest summers in Trail Blazer history though.

Damn I still can't believe we blew this game. I can't wait till the season is over this is pure agonizing as a season I've ever endured. We're just pure teasers imo

Let's face it, this team is 18-18 over the last 36 games. Hard to have any faith after that choke job tonight. Just awful.

He wouldn't average 30+ per game against us, I can guarantee you that.

Lots of great things happened tonight.

Lillard had 18/10 in a game where he really played within himself. Very solid game.

CJ had 13 points in a big game. This bodes well for playoffs if he can deliver when the pressure is on.

    Our bench outscored LAC's 33-17

Batum is playing better. Shot 7/11 tonight,

Don't panic guys. Rockets were 3-1 against us last year and we took them out of the playoffs in 6 games.

We still have tiebreakers over Spurs and Clippers

We had a 14-18 stretch last year and still beat the Rockets in the first round.

We should win our next 6 games, no question. Go Blazers!

That's what sucks. We can have many players have solid individual games and still lose. At home. In a big game.
