Hate blowing that game, but LOVED Meyers calling for the ball in the post and kicking ass.

Looks like playing on the road in the first round is ensured

Meyers and C J got some very valuable experience tonight. Three key and banged up players got some much needed rest (I'll bet my hat they stayed home on the advice of our crack training staff).

This game MAY end up costing HCA, but it WILL pay dividends during the stretch run and the playoffs.

    It's all good! :)

We didn't need other teams to lose.

No it's not. There's a lot of basketball to be played.

Still can't believe we decided to give that game away and in a sense, HCA. It would have made so much more sense to let those three rest against Minnesota and Utah or OKC/Dallas (if things were solidified by then), but to concede this game pisses me off.

Really glad Meyers played well. Sure would be nice if Coach Stotts would keep him in the fucking rotation this time.

I didn't have a problem at all with leaving those guys at home. They all three seem to be better with a little rest and all three actually are injured or have been injured recently. We may win an extra game during the season due to their resting. and they may be fresher in the playoffs. Also it may benefit us in the playoffs that Myers and McCollum got some more experience. Not to mention that it confirmed that there are some guys who should not be getting any minutes in the playoffs.

I liked one of the post-game show "headlines": Blazers Spring Training Split-Squad shows promise.

Portland and Dallas look like fresh meat to these western conference contenders. I bet everybody is fighting to have either. I can't wait till next year and our revenge tour..

Stotts pretty much knows HCA isn't going to happen.

It just pisses me off man. We had HCA for our taking. Literally we controlled our own destiny.
I could totally understand if a bunch of factors had to happen but it was simple we win out and we get home court. This is by far one of the most bizarre moves I've seen the Blazers ever make. They literally just handed them the game and said fuck it..

This loss may come back to haunt the Blazers. They still had an outside shot at 2nd place which would have guaranteed home court advantage in the first two rounds. But forget that minimum they could have the first round at home. Now they may face the Spurs or Clips in the first round with a game seven in San Antonio or LA, if it even goes that far.

I hope Lamarcus plans on playing like he did in the first two games in last years playoffs because it literally takes those type of games for us to have a shot..

If it was about rest, I don't know why they didn't leave Dame at home aswell. He could have used it.

Dame has never missed a NBA game. He wouldn't agree to miss one now.
