...well, make up your freaking mind...and this kind of shit wouldn't happen.

    1. I stated that " the amount of money bet is not the only factor."

    2. you promptly asked "Please tell me about "other factors" so we don't run around in circles."

    3. now you say that you are "aware there are "factors" which contribute to creating "odds".

...if you already knew about the "factors", why did you ask me to tell you about them?...Jesus tap-dancing Christ.

...wait, are you seriously acting like you've somehow taken the high road here?... you can just stop with the "what, who me?" routine.

    Here's what I know (believe) -
Generally, most "bettors" who wager MONEY on gambling, will also TRY and weigh different FACTORS before placing or making a bet ON THE ODDS which are set by odds makers who also take into account "factors".

Or maybe you thought I believed the "ODDS" just appeared out of the sky?

Go ahead, have the last word. I'm already tired.......over and out.

...lol...again, so you already knew about "other factors" before asking me to explain them to you?

    ...this shit is hilarious.

Honestly the reason I choose to stay out of it is because, as brilliant as I am when it comes to baseball I must plead total ignorance when it comes to odds & betting.

...told you several times before, reading your drivel once is enough...no need to read it again, just because you can't seem to get your shit together.

    ...rather than taking a page out of your maniacal book and inconveniencing you by asking you to go back and sift through things that have already been said, I'll simply repost it here;

    1. I stated that " the amount of money bet is not the only factor."

    2. you promptly asked "Please tell me about "other factors" so we don't run around in circles."

BTW....the wiki on making a book is pretty good from the mathematics and probability perspective on odds setting.

...yup, there's all sorts of things that go into setting/adjusting the odds...they've pretty much got it down to a science. The odds/point spread can also fluctuate during the week/month/year depending the weather, injuries, coaching decisions, etc.

...odds from another sporting event...odds of winning go from 50:1 to 40:1 in a week and a day later go to 25:1 ?

By Now Ricks at a 2:1 odds, he's having sex with Joan Rivers right this moment.....

Now that's a haunting thought to visualize.......I bet 1:1; Joan is bald under those wigs, or only has a couple of wild hairs on her head, and shaves her beard twice daily....Fact: only Rick would know..........

Only Rick knows, he was poking Phyliss Diller, He's a greater than < 80s guy.....
